amazing Vietnamese food with a nice western touch

I am doing an internship for a period of 6 month in Hoi An and tried out a few Restaurants. Mangos room is for me one of the best, it is in the heart of Hoi An Old Town, the cocktails and the food are outstanding. As the Chef travelled all around world, he gives the food a special note. It is not typically vietnamese food but you could say a vietnamese base with many touches of fine dining asian cuisine. He opened lately a new restaurant on the other side of the River, Mango Mango which I haven't try out so far.

My husband and I are big foodies. By the time we got to Hoi Ann we were craving for something a little more sophisticated than what we had seen through Vietnam. Mango Rooms is by far the best restautant in VIetnam. When we found this gem we ate there for the rest of our stay. The food was cleaver, the servcie great, cocktails fun and incredible value. We have since been back to Hoi Ann just for Mango rooms. Spending the night here watching life go by with great cocktails and food we struggled to spend AU$30. Whatever you do go there. Hoi Ann is an absolute delight and an evening in mango rooms before wandering back to our hotel is what a holiday in vietnam is all about

Mango Rooms has amazing food. My 3 day stay in Hoi An I ate there 3 times! the food is seriously good - the tuna I had was simply the best fish I have ever eaten. I was with a few fussy eaters and even they were blown away. the vegetable tempura we just kept ordering more. They use a lot of organic produce (I'm thinking most of the produce around hoi an is organic). Not traditional Vietnamese but with a twist. Apparently the chef is opening up a new restaurant on the other side of the river so keep an eye out. We sat upstairs, outside, inside - its all good to watch life in hoi an and enjoy some incredible food.
