Buses stop in the marketplace, behind Burns Avenue, the town's main street. Novelo's run regular services from Belize City, continuing to Benque Viejo, for the Guatemalan border (30min); a shared taxi to the border costs only US$2 per person. You can leave luggage at Novelo's, too, or at Mayawalk Bar , easily visible from the bus stop and also good for information. Although there's no official tourist office in San Ignacio, Bob Jones, owner of the long-established Eva's Bar on Burns Avenue, is a good source of information. Eva's also has Internet access , as does Top Cat at 8 Hudson St - it's worth visiting the Cayo district's superb Web site at www.belizex.com/cayo.htm . Most other facilities can also be found on Burns Avenue, including banks , though there's no reliable ATM in town. The post office is next to Courts furniture store in the centre of town. Laundry can be done at Martha's on West Street, behind Eva's . For domestic and international air tickets go to Exodus Travel, 2 Burns Ave (tel 824-4400).
