Giby's Terrace Kaya Andres A. Emerenciana tel 599/567-0655. Just minutes from downtown, Giby's is a well-known snack stand serving delicious conch and goat stews. Enjoy your meal outside on the small terrace or take it back to your hotel. Daily 10am-11pm, closed Tues.

It Rains Fishes Kaya Jan N.E. Craane 24 tel 599/717-8780. This popular, friendly restaurant on a covered outdoor terrace facing the water offers delicious and affordable local seafood dishes for NAf27.50. Also available are chicken, beef tenderloin and a selection of salads. Mon-Sat 5.30-10pm only.

Rendez-Vous Kaya L.D. Gerharts 3 tel 599/717-8454. One of Bonaire's oldest restaurants, with pictures of famous diners adorning its walls. Delicious home-made meals include catch of the day encased in puff pastry, and shrimp in a tropical sauce; lamb and beef dishes are also available. Entrees about NAf40. Daily 5.30-10.30pm, closed Thurs.
