When it comes to eating cheaply in Guatemala City, stick to Zona 1 , where there are some good comedores and dozens of fast-food chains. In the smarter parts of town, particularly Zonas 9 and 10 , the emphasis is more on upmarket cafés and glitzy dining, and there's also more choice, including Mexican, Middle Eastern, Chinese and Japanese options.
