The apartment comprises the completely re-built wing of Rathan House, an 1850's mansion set in its own grounds. It was completed in 2004 and will suit those seeking luxury standards in their holiday accommodation.

- High insulation standards together with double glazing and large gas Vaillant Combi Boiler ensure fabulous showers and central heating. It is a very warm apartment and has Victorian plaster cornices in the bedrooms, hall and lounge.

It does offer an excellent base for those seeking a superior base prior to a Scottish Castle Wedding at Dalhousie Castle, Melville Castle, Oxenfoord Castle or Borthwick castle. Parents of Wisconsin students at Dalkeith Palace will also find this to be an excellent family home from home.
