Atop a 12 acre mountainside setting in Tannersville, NY, this previously restored, 100 year old three story farmhouse offers 15 guest rooms and a heavenly mountainous view. It holds a white exterior with black shutters and trim. Inside leans towards an oak look, although each room showcases an independent decor.
Built in 1900, the James H. Leach Family dairy farm began to accommodate guests in the late 1930’s and a boarding trend continued into the ’70’s. Forerunners in the concept of "B&B," Julie & Abe Abramczyk purchased the Eggery Inn in 1979, and restored and transformed the Dutch Colonial Farmhouse into the first Bed & Breakfast in Tannersville, NY.

Following a friendly reception, guests can expect lovely accommodations. All 15 guest rooms consist of extremely comfortable beds varying in size with personal baths, as well as cable TV, A/C & telephones. Six rooms located at ground level provide limited access for the physically challenged (call for specifics).

What are we going to do today? Well lets see, we’re only just a few miles from Hunter Mountain, Cortina Valley and Ski Windham. Cross-country skiing and mountain biking are nearby at Mountain Trails. The Inn, located in the Catskill Forest Preserve, is adjacent to numerous state hiking trails, scenic waterfalls, and North and South Lake State Park. Falls colorful canopy is perfect for scenic trips to nearby Woodstock and antique center of Saugerties.

Rates range from $115.00 - $145.00 per night, double occupancy. Additional per person charges per night, age dependent range from $20.00 - $30.00. (Non-Holiday). Rates do not include 8.25% sales tax or gratuities. A full, choice-menu breakfast is included in quoted rates.

A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required with balance due upon arrival. All cancelable/transferable reservations are subject to a handling fee of $25.00 per room. All reservations become non cancelable 14 days (non-holiday) before scheduled arrival.
