Peabody, Massachusetts is situated 25 miles from Boston, where many of the B&B’s guests like to visit. There is train service to Boston from the next town, just ten minutes away.
Joan’s Bed and Breakfast has two rooms with twin beds and one room with a queen size bed. All three rooms have air-conditioning.
Breakfast is served in their somewhat country kitchen with skylights over the table. All muffins, pastries, breads, and jams are homemade. In the summer, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries are fresh from the yard. Juices, fruits, cereals also are included. Coffee and tea is served at all times and afternoon tea is served on request.
The most visited place in the area is Salem, Massachusetts, where you can learn all about the history of the Salem witch trials. There are many museums, shops, tarot card readings, wonderful restaurants, and famous homes like the witch house and the House of Seven Gables. Joan’s B&B is located about 15 minutes from Salem.
The quaint town of Rockport is also a very special place to visit with all of its cute shops and fine restaurants, some of which are right on the ocean.
