New owners Tom and Maureen Checchia carry on the tradition started three generations ago by the Snyder family. This cheerful red clapboard country inn graces rural Vermont, where cows graze in undulating fields and horse drawn carriages amble along miles of canopied roads. Comfortable guest rooms are furnished in an antique colonial style with stenciling on the walls, hard-rock maple armoires and rocking chairs.
A day at the inn begins with a hearty country breakfast and in the evening you may choose one of the fine restaurants in the area or enjoy a candlelit meal at the inn itself, finishing up with one of Chef Elise Durr’s delicious desserts. Whether you choose to partake of the many activities available at the inn, visit the surrounding areas or simply relax in the quiet beauty of the landscape, the Landgrove Inn provides you with the true Vermont experience!
