Built in the 1860’s, The Inn at Spences Bridge was built as a relaxing stopover for weary travellers. Continuing the tradition, The Inn offers 12 renovated and uniquely decorated guest rooms. All rooms are one of a kind and decorated to enhance the quality of your stay. Many have private baths, spectacular views of the river, the valley and the railways, and two have private balconies. All are surprisingly affordable and rates include a continental breakfast featuring our homemade muffins and seasonal fruit. Weekly rates are available for guest who wish to linger a bit longer.

Some have features like balconies or air conditioning.In addition to your room, the guests’ lounge is the place to meet and relax. It features comfortable furnishings, a cozy pellet stove and even a piano for those who are musically inclined! A perfect spot for our guests to meet, swap tales, read, or simply relax.

Here are some of the many things you can find to do in the area: fishing in the river and many local lakes, mountain biking on the Kettle Valley Railway bicycle trail, whitewater rafting, visiting the Hells Gate rapids, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, birdwatching, the Hat Creek Historical Ranch, golf, historic Ashcroft and its fabulous museum, local rodeos, Ashcroft Manor, the Merritt Mountain Music Festival every summer, or just find a quiet spot and watch the river flow by.

The inn is a smoke-free environment. For those who might still indulge the habit, the front walk, the concrete area of the patio and the parking areas can be used. We have a ‘no pets’ policy that applies to both the inn and restaurant. Your pets can be leashed in our side yard while you are eating on the patio.
