We are located in the enchanting "Currier & Ives " style village of Montgomery Center, Vermont, in the Jay Peak area of the Green Mountains. The Inn On Trout River was built more than 100 years ago as the country home of Mr. C.T. Hall. Today, this AAA rated Historic Country Inn welcomes visitors from around the world who gather to enjoy the outstanding food, the friendly service and the home-like atmosphere of a true, full service, country inn. At Lemoine’s, our 3-Diamond restaurant, you will experience the finest gourmet dining in the Jay Peak region. We are Franklin County’s only AAA 3 Diamond Restaurant. THE ROOMS
Spacious and inviting, our century old inn has 10 guest rooms, all individually decorated, all with private baths, queen size beds, down quilts and feather pillows. There are fireplaces in the main dining room and sitting room, and a Montgomery Soapstone Stove in the split level living room/library. We have a two room family suite that sleeps four people, with a queen size bed in one room and two twin beds in the second room. Our "Honeymoon Suite" (also known as the Run Away Parents Room) features a queen size brass bed and a Franklin stove.
