Mason House Inn Bed is located in historic Bentonsport, Iowa. The Inn was built in 1846 by Mormon craftsmen as a hotel for the steamboat travelers. It is nestled on the banks of the beautiful Des Moines River.

"There is a cookie jar in every room." And, as some of our taller guests will attest, comfortable beds that are of adequate 21st Century size. We feature King, Queen, and Extra-long double beds. Some rooms also include a twin bed or two for families.

-Indian Artifact Museum: Home to an extensive collection of Native American Indian artifacts including an impressive display of arrowheads.
- Old Presbyterian Church Building: Visit this historic building on the hill north of the village.
-Historic Bridge: Built in 1882 for horse and buggy traffic, this bridge is the oldest and longest iron truss bridge still in use across the Des Moines River.
