Whale watching - From November through March whales migrate through or hang out around Dominica. In the afternoons the dive boats direct their attentions towards the whales in the area west of the island. About 80% of the time they are successful.
Most of the medium sized whales have been spotted including orca whales, sperm whales, pilot whales and false killer whales. Dolphin is seen almost all the time as well.
