Peaceful, relaxing, comfortable, each African style thatched cottage has en suite shower, CD radio and hammock. They can accommodate 2/3 persons. Watch the sunsets from the spacious veranda, stroll along the beach in the moonlight and swim in the clear turquoise blue Caribbean Sea. Enjoy fresh local produce prepared in the traditional way. Meals are served in the M13349 Restaurant & Bar (previously trading as Cool Runnings). Breakfast on request, is particularly enjoyable on your private veranda and consists of local fruits, natural tropical juices, blue mountain coffee and a variety of Jamaican favorites such ackee and salt-fish, johnny cakes, calleloo, fried plantain, cornmeal or peanut porridge.

Long Bay is about a 2 hours drive from the International Airport Kingston. On request a privat taxi can be arranged by us.
Port Antonio is a 25 minutes drive from the "Yahimba" cottages.
Beside the cottages is a privat parking place available.
Library and internet are across the street.
The thatched restaurant is idyllically situated next to the cottages. It is a popular, natural place frequented by Kingstonians and locals especially at weekends. It also has an outside shower and hammocks. Food is traditional using natural produce and includes chicken, fish and vegetarian (ital) dishes. Music and cultural events are hosted here. Weddings and receptions can also be arranged.
Nearby attractions and activities:
Activities available locally include snorkeling, diving, surfing and horse riding. There are several stunning beaches close by as well as Reach and Sommerset falls. The fascinating and lively market town of Port Antonio is a 20 minutes drive to the west. A little further (one hour) are the Blue Mountains and in the other directions Bath Fountain - a natural hot mineral water Spa. Kingston is a two hour drive and a taxi can be arranged to meet your arrival.
Policy:
Everybody is most welcome in M13349 for 2 nights or more.
A reservation is solid, when a 50% of the total rental has been paid. I like to receive the remaining 50% 2 weeks before arrival.
There is no possibility to pay with credit cards.
