Wildman Lake Lodge is owned and operated by Butch & Kathy King, both life-time Alaskans. Butch is an experienced Alaskan "bush pilot" and licensed Alaska Master Guide with more than 33 years experience on the remote Alaska Peninsula. At Wildman Lake Lodge, you will be fishing each day with our professional commercial bush pilots and experienced, licensed sport fishing guides.
Wildman Lake Lodge includes fly-out excursions from Wildman to fish neighboring rivers, adding even more variety to your sport fishing week. Fishing at Wildman is like a trip back in time, to when Alaska sport fishing was still a wilderness experience. True wilderness fishing is hard to find, even in Alaska. Wildman Lake Lodge is the only lodge on Ocean River. Even on our fly out fishing days, we rarely encounter other parties. The Alaska Peninsula is known as Alaska's last sport fishing wilderness and Wildman is a true Alaskan wilderness lodge.
Property amenities:
Our comfortable facility is designed to accommodate up to 16 guests per week. Individual fisherman, fishing couples, families and corporate groups are all welcome at Wildman! Accommodation include duplex style guest cabins. Each cabin has carpeted floors, baseboard heat, comfortable beds with cozy comforters and a piping hot shower.
The main lodge is appointed with warm natural pine making it a cozy sanctuary at the end of each wilderness fishing day. You will surely enjoy the tasty delights from our modern kitchen. Meals are served in the spacious dining room after which you can enjoy an entertaining evening of fish tales and cocktails in our comfortable lounge overlooking the Ocean River and the glacier shrouded Aleutian Mountain Range. Our guest accommodations include carpeted twin rooms in duplex style guest cabins. Every cabin has toasty hot water baseboard heat and a piping hot shower.

Guests at Wildman Lake Lodge enjoy unlimited fishing hours right outside their cabin door as well as a full day of guided fishing every day. Wildlife viewing is abundant for Alaska brown bear, bald eagles, caribou, to mention just a few. Fly out only 10 minutes to the largest Pacific Walrus Haul-out on the Alaska Peninsula and see 300 to 3,000 walrus during the summer season. Flight seeing glaciers and active volcanoes along the Alaska Peninsula.
Location:
200 miles southwest of King Salmon on the remote Alaska Peninsula. Away from the crowded fishing waters of Bristol Bay and Iliamna.
Policy:
Summer arrival and departure days are Sunday. Weeklong packages are normal, however shorter stays can be arranged. A 50% confirmation deposit is requested with balance upon arrival. We are not able to process credit cards. Corporate groups, families, couples or individuals are welcome.
