Our goal is 100% success for all who choose KFP for the experience of a lifetime. Come with us, and you will see why we offer a money back guarantee on all our fishing trips.

KingFisher's Perch also specializes in rafting and adventure trips on the Copper, Gulkana, Klutina, Tonsina, Delta, and many other rivers. These rivers are home to the bald eagle, moose, bear, wild bison and much more of Alaska's beautiful wildlife. From 15 day adventure trips for the Diehard to 6 hr wilderness floats. We have an experience the whole family can enjoy!

Property amenities:
Guest who chooses to stay at the Nest will enjoy our great mountain views, cozy atmosphere, and all the comforts of home. Our lodge provides enough beds to sleep 8 guests comfortably, however, that won't stop us from trying to make arrangements to accommodate you. The cabins are quite nice and can offer extra space if needed. After a long day of fishing the Jacuzzi tub will be quite inviting. Good luck fighting your pals for it! Our cabins provide continental breakfast, small refrigerator, & microwave. Cabins do not have indoor plumbing, however we provide a five gallon water container and wash basin that gives a sense of the old Alaska. Scheduled use of the Lodge's shower is available.

Nearby attractions and activities:
The Copper River is the bondary line for Wrangell St. Ellas National Park & Preserve. There are flight seeing and van tours in the Valley. Some tours travel as far as the Kennicott mines.

FISHING & LODGING PACKAGES:

Each package will include your designated number of nights in our beautiful, rustic lodge or cabins and your adventurous guided fishing trips. We want you to come to fish and relax. Let us make your Alaskan experience memorable. Your package will include all of your meals, and processing of the fish you catch. We will label and freeze the packaged fish and see that it gets to your freezer safely.

Mornings start with a fresh breakfast of your choice. Then to the boathouse to fit hip boots and go over rules and safety guidelines. After all the gear is loaded we drive your party to the selected river, and this wild Alaskan Adventure begins. The trip will sharpen your fishing skills as you experience some of Alaska’s greatest rivers. Whether you choose the Peaceful Gulkana or the Raging Klutina your trip is sure to be memorable. You will receive expert lessons on how to conquer the mighty King Salmon and correctly hook the Sockeye (red) Salmon. Our guides take pride in knowing exactly how to teach you to hook and land these amazing fish. The overwhelming beauty of Alaska sets the perfect backdrop for your fishing trip. There is so much you will see, as the eagles show off their aerodynamic skills. You might even see a hopeful bear or the mighty moose, with his huge rack, as you fish a little piece of our heaven.

Your lunch will be provided on the river. We provided a lunch menu prior to the trip so that you are sure to get exactly what you want. Our lunches are prepared fresh each morning and packed in your guides cooler. There will also be morning snacks and drinks for you to have at anytime. Pulling in all those fish can work up an appetite.

At the end of your day your guide will clean and fillet your fish and bring you back to KingFisher’s Perch headquarters. Once you get back you will go to the lodge and we take care of the gear and your fish. You can now go and relax awhile before dinner. Our Jacuzzi bathtub in the master bedroom will be quite inviting after a long day of fishing. Don’t take too much time relaxing, however. Dinner will be soon. Do you want to dine in or dine out? If you choose dinning out we will make dinner reservations at one of the choice restaurants in the area. If you choose to dine instead dinner provisions will be provided in the kitchen. You will be asked to make these choices when you book your trip. If you would like dinner made for you please specify. Another dinner option we offer is a Salmon dinner provided and prepared by Grandma Hughes. She is famous for her delicious salmon recipes. When all is said and done we hope that we have succeeded in our goal, to make your trip the best ever.
