Gelbingen Guest Farm is situated in a mountainous valley in the middle of a Mopani tree savannah. While enjoying our hospitality you can easily explore the Etosha National Park, Damaraland and Kaokoland, or enjoy one of our tours with us. We are only some 500 kilometers north west of Windhoek the capital of Namibia.
Huntingfarm Gelbingen is part of the Etosha Kaoko Conservancy, bordering the Etosha National Park, existing of approximately 100 000 hectares. Here we have an abundance of Plains Game existing of the following: Eland, Kudu, Oryx, Springbok, Steenbok, Impala, Zebra, Warthog, Giraffe and Blue Wildebeest. Leopard, Cheetah and Hyena also roam in this area, even lions are present from time to time. Fishing at the coast is varied from land or Deep Sea with Catfish, Shark, Cob, Galjoen to name but a few. This is also an adventure offering more as you get to meet Seals, dolphins, leatherbacked turtles and the oceans own Birdlife.

The Okavango river is a fishermans paradise where we offer our clients an experience in a lifetime, fishing across the border into Botswana. As the river is the main source for drinking water a big variety of African Plains Game can be watched and filmed. Even the big five ’Elephants, Hippo’s, Lions, Leopard and Buffalo.’ Even the Birdlife with over 400 species is incredible.

The hunting season is from 1 February until 30 November. Our accommodation exists of 4 Bungalows each with their own Bathrooms. In our Lapa we have a restaurant/bar where we spoil our client with excellent Namibian cuisine. (Swimming Pool)

FISHING AND PHOTO SAFARIS (7-10 DAYS)
Visit the upper Okavango Swamps and Chobe National Park. We visit the land of the mighty Tiger Fish and try to catch a big one. Otherwise head off into the beautiful landscapes of Namibia or into Etosha National Park to take photos. Cost all inclusive 300.00 Euro per person per day ( only excluding alcoholic beverages).
