While enjoying the evening appetizers in the lounge, it’s not unusual to see Moose, Bear and Caribou in their natural setting, walking the time-worn trail across the river. Incorporate a visit to Katmai National Park and watch the bears catching dinner at Brooks Falls. Fly through high mountain passes where there’s always a snow cap. View volcanic calderas and fly over miles of unbroken Arctic tundra where herds of Caribou migrate. Every day you will experience new waters and different species of fish. Alaska Rainbow is centrally located in the Iliamna and Bristol Bay watersheds. This is the heart of Trophy Rainbow country.

Main lodge overlooks the Kvichak River and has five guest bedrooms, each has a queen and extra-long twin bed twin bed with private bath. Three guest cabins adjacent to the lodge that offer single room accommodations with a shared central bath. Maximum of sixteen guests per week. The comfortable lounge and bar overlooks the Kvichak River and has a personable atmosphere and ample room for socializing. Grayling and Rainbow Trout can be seen rising to dry flies off the river from the lodges’ front window. A great place to relax and enjoy a complimentary drink after an exhilarating day of catching fish.

Policy:
Seven day trip runs from Friday to Friday with King Salmon, Alaska as the point of outfitting. Limited 3½ day trips on specific dates. Deposit of $2,500.00 per person to confirm reservation. Deposits can be refunded only if your place is filled by your designee or by Alaska Rainbow Lodge. Payment in full due 90 days prior to your fishing date. Deposit is forefeited unless canceling guest or Alaska Rainbow Lodge can fill the opening. No smoking in the lodge or rooms but smoking area on front porch. Not recommended for children under the age of ten.
