An oasis in a modern world,Palazzo Belmonte , is a magnificent historical residence, nestled in an unspoilt coastal area of Southern Italy. The Palace, which borders the characteristic little fishing village of Santa Maria di Castellabate, is located south of the Amalfi Coast, in one of the most idyllic places in the Mediterranean. Palazzo Belmonte is an ideal heaven for all ages, singles, honeymooners, amateur painters or those who want to lie on a beach or go on cultural expeditions.

The splendid five acres of park and gardens offer a setting which is both private and tranquil, among orange and lemon trees, flowering hibiscus, oleander and rose, with jasmine, plumbago and a profusion of bougainvilleas cascading from the ancient walls. Owing to the magical timeless quality of the Palazzo, guests can relax and enjoy absolute comfort, where all their cares and worries from the outside world slip away while they delight in the informal and peaceful atmosphere of this historic family home.

Property amenities:
The twenty spacious suites/ apartments are located in three wings of the Palazzo and the charming Edoardo’s House adjoining the main Palazzo. Each apartment is uniche and named after a scented flower or herb found in the surrounding gardens.

Many have vaulted ceilings, while some have private terraces. The suites/apartments are comfortable, each with a sitting room and with its own distinctive design and furnishings. Some have full or partial views of the sea, while others overlook the 5 acre garden or flower filled courtyard.

Nearby attractions and activities:
Many interesting activities can be arranged through the Palazzo such as: hire of mountain bikes to explore the pine-wooded coastline, scuba diving to investigate submerged ruins and marine life, windsurfing, horse riding and tennis.

Boat trips and picnic lunches can be arranged to Punta Licosa, an extraordinary 6 km stretch of private, unspoilt coastline, ideal for snorkelling, delightful for a pleasant stroll amongst the eucalyptus and pines and a superb stretch for the enthusiastic jogger.
