The Sheyenne Valley Lodge offers excellent upland waterfowl hunting and big game hunting in the Coteau area, the prairie pothole region of North Dakota. The Coteau region has more breeding ducks that anywhere else on the continent! North Dakota hunting at its finest! Our hunting lodge is in the center of this vast population of ducks and geese. Beside duck and goose hunting, we also have Hungarian Partridge, Sharptailed Grouse, Mourning Doves, Pheasants, and Sandhill Crane. Because of the variety of upland bird species to hunt, we hunt all day every day! The area around the Lodge is home for more than a dozen varieties of ducks and five species of geese. This variety of birds is unparalleled in its number. Whether you prefer hunting upland North Dakota game, hunting waterfowl, or both, the Sheyenne Valley Lodge gives you that opportunity!
Our family owned and operated lodge is second to none in the Dakotas. We have 50,000 acres of natural hunting habitat. This sparsely populated area contains only eight farms within our thirty-six square mile township. Reminiscent of the Victorian era, the historic North Lodge has 12 bedrooms, each bedroom or suite having its own private bath. A true one-of-a-kind in North Dakota, the South Lodge features six 2-bedroom suites. You will enjoy fine regional dining, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner all served in our spacious dining area.

Built at the turn-of-the-century, the Sheyenne Valley North Lodge offers the perfect atmosphere to get away from the world! In 1992, it was carefully moved to its current location and fully refurbished, preserving its rich heritage. From antique woodwork to beautiful fixtures, the North Lodge is a true classic.
The lodge is a subtle blend of the old and the new. One of the second floor bathrooms is the original old house bathroom with the original claw foot tub and is a favored place of our lady guests. The third floor bedroom with sitting room and private bath is the most favored bedroom in the lodge. All rooms and suites have private bathrooms.
The ornate wood and the stained glass windows add to the relaxing atmosphere of this peaceful comfortable lodge. The stained glass windows and chandeliers were imported from Germany 100 years ago and are still as beautiful as ever! The new lounge and dining area with the rock fireplace is a great place to relax and enjoy fine dining and discuss the days activities.

We have hunting in every direction, thats what people come here to do and thats what we do for three solid days, from sunrise to sunset. We hunt all day every day.
Policy:
The reservations are for 3 days & 4 nites. Come in pm day one, hunt 3 days, spend 4th nite, leave for your home. No refund on deposits but they will be forwarded to the next year. Non-smoking. Dogs in rooms in portable kennels or in heated kennel.

* The Giant Canadians Geese move in & we can hunt them till the middle of December. Pheasants & some Ducks. On Dec 1, we had 100,000 Greater Canadian Geese in North Dakota, all concentrated in an area 40 miles long and 5 miles wide.
Notes: Airport pick-up and shells also available. All hunts are set as 3 days and 4 nights. Longer hunts can be arranged. Extra 1/2 day hunts are 1/2 price.
