"Vaya" is located in Northeast corner of Iowa in New Hampton. We are North of Waterloo IA 40 minutes and straight South of Rochester MN 75 miles, 4.75 hours West of Milwaukee WI and 2.5 hours South of Minneapolis MN. Waterloo Iowa has a major airport serving our area.
The most important thing for a good hunt is clean and comfortable accommodations. "Vaya" offers this to you at a reasonable rate in a prime hunting area in Northeast Iowa. Iowa hosts more than 250,000 hunters annually. These hunters make 3.5 million visits to Iowa’s 340 public hunting areas. Deer and pheasants are a popular draw, but plenty of opportunities exist to pursue waterfowl and other small game.
The cabin sits on 60 prime acres. There are over 40 public hunting sites in Chickasaw and the surrounding Counties. We are only 20 minutes from the furthest one. Chickasaw County alone has 20 public hunting areas (1500+ acres)! Many landowners allow hunting when properly approached.
Property amenities:
"Vaya" offers a remodeled farmhouse with accommodations, for up to 7 people with indoor dog kennels. All you need to do is to supply your own food and towels.
