This charming 4 star hotel comprises of individual buildings wrapped around a relaxing pool area, overlooking the 1st and the 18th fairways of the M13954 Golf Course. The main hotel building – reception, library and lounge, formerly the Railway training college was built by Scottish masons in the early 1900’s. While the hotel rooms are light and airy, the décor and dark woods of the main hotel adds the element of grandiosity of a bygone era of discovery, turmoil and unification.
Cuisine is traditionally South African with influences of Xhosa, English and Cape Malay. Hearty breakfasts, light lunches and evening dinners are all served in the Bunkers Restaurant.

The malaria-free M13954, situated on 3400 hectares of former farmlands, offer sightings of Big Game from open Land Rovers. A Gary Player design, the first 10 holes of the soft spike Bushman Sands Golf Course is currently playable, with the additional 8 holes due to open late 2005. Facilities include a half-way house, pro-shop and locker rooms with showers and a steam room.
