Argentina has an incredible amount of birds and a great variety of species. This, together with our wonderful views, makes it a very attractive place for wing shooting.
A great variety of ducks, partridge, dove, pigeon and wild geese compose the native fauna of the zone. Small Game also hunted are hare and fox.
La Matera Hunting - Lodge is situated at “Estancia El Rezongo”, a privileged place where sport hunting has never been allowed. This is why, today, we have a wonderful population of native species.
This “estancia” is also the heart of one of the most important Arabian horse farms in Argentina. “La Matera Horses” develops all breeding and training programs for equestrian sports at the lodge, the wonderful place where you will be staying.
The proximity to Ezeiza International Airport allows the hunter the possibility of enjoying his first shots just a few hours after their arrival in Argentina.
Also, considering the amount of the land we have available for the hunter in our “estancia”, it is not necessary to travel for hours and hours to arrive at the hunting point.
About the meals, you will be delighted by the particular taste of your own hunting, the traditional Argentinean dishes like “asado criollo”, lamb, and other international plates all made by our exclusive International Chef.
As we are really close to the sea, we can invite you for Off Shore fishing or Surf Fishing. We have more than 20 fish species that, depending on the season, can be Shark, Smooth Hound, Black Drum, White Croacker, Flatfish, Weakfish, Silver Side, Argentine Conger, Brótola, Sea Bass, etc.
Property amenities:
The lodge is special to share with friends, select and cozy; it has only 4 rooms with their own bathrooms, a large dining room and a comfortable living room around the fire place.
The kitchen is managed by our international chef, who is constantly cooking some delicious appetizers to surprise you. The traditional "asado", the tasty lamb, and dishes made with your own hunting and fishing, will be an excellent way of finishing an amazing day of full adventure.

Ride Horses on the Estate or the Beach:
La Matera has been breeding World Champion Arabian Horses for Ten years. As the Arabians are bred for Strength, Speed, Endurance, and Confidence, this makes for an exciting ride through the valleys and plains or on the beach in the morning and afternoon sun. For the less experienced rider, don’t worry, La Matera will accommodate you with the best horse for you. For the romantic, La Matera also provides carridge rides along the shore in the sunset, or through the dunes in the warm afternoon sun.
Fishing:
You can choose to fish in a Lake, from the beach, or off shore. The fishing is excellent. We have shark fishing from October to March!
Golf, shoping, gym, spa:
You can also travel into Bahia Blanca for 27 Holes of Golf at a Prestigous Argentine Club, the Spa, Gym or Shopping.

Multi Species Wing Shooting, Fresh / Salt Water Fishing. Six days of Adventure, Seven nights lodging.
Hunt Ducks and Geese in the morning and Pigeon, Dove and Partridge in the afternoon. Take a day or two to travel from the Estate 10 Kilometres to the beach or to a lake (your choice) for a fun filled day of excellent offshore or fresh water fishing (you pay that day as observer). You also have the option of choosing between the additional activities (all are included), finishing in the evening hunting Vizcacha, Hare and Fox.

On business in South America or looking to follow up a Big Game Adventure with a Wing Shooting and Fishing Adventure?! For a special price p/day, you decide your own schedule. The choice is yours, depending on the weather, you can do as little or as much as you desire; stay as many or as few days as your schedule allows.

Notes:
- Double occupancy rooms.
- Minimum: 4 hunters, maximum: 8 hunters. If your group is less than 4, there is a charge of 10% and if is less than 3 a 15%. Give us a call; we will always try to mach you with another group!
- Observers pay 50%. They can enjoy all additional activities except hunting.
- Extra half day: You can you choose to leave at the afternoon flight and spend the day in Bahia Blanca. Cost: 50% of observer rate.
