Barefoot elegance and finely appointed suites in charming over - water palapa casitas. Ideally situated over the water to maximize the ocean and beach views against a backdrop of virgin rainforest, our six spacious bungalows are gracefully appointed with quality king size beds with romantic wraparound mosquito nets, ample spa baths next to the glass floor sitting room, unique furnishings and local art.

SAN BLAS ISLAND TOUR. A beautiful tour of Kuna Yala, the archipelago and a morning of leisure, snorkeling and a gourmet picnic lunch on a pristine island. Everything included. 3 - 4 hrs.

* If taken on your arrival by air to San Blas: $60 per person (2 person minimum)
* If taken from Coral Lodge: $90 per person . (4 person minimum)

NOTE: Since flights to San Blas arrive at 6:30 am and check in isn't until 1 pm, we highly recommend this half day tour of San Blas on arrival instead of going straight to the lodge. Guest who book this tour should travel in beach wear to fully enjoy the excursion.

NEAR SHORE FISHING. 2 – 4 anglers. Includes boat, drinks, snacks, bait, guide and tackle. FLAT RATES: half day $ 250 per boat, 1 – 2 hrs $100 per boat.

HORSE RIDING EXCURSION on a jungle trail to a cool fresh water swim hole where you will enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch and later finish the ride on a pristine un-inhabited beach. 3 hrs. $50 per person , 2 person minimum.

GUIDED KAYAK EXCURSION includes the best of both ocean and mangrove kayaking through canals and inlets. 2 hrs. $10 per person , 2 person minimum.

CLEAR BOTTOM KAYAK EXCURSION. Join divers on the outer reefs where the variety and quality of coral is better than anywhere in Panama . 2 hrs. $30 per person , 2 person minimum.

GUIDED RAINFOREST TREK to a nearby river, 2 hrs. Enjoy an incredible variety of lush tropical jungle foliage. Includes water and snacks. Rate: $25 per person (2 person minimum).

PORTOBELO TOUR. Included in your return transfer to Panama City is a tour of Portobelo , Spain 's first surviving settlement on the continent. There were some earlier settlements that failed. The gold Spain took from Peru was carted over the isthmus on mules from Panama city to Portobello were it was loaded on ships heading for Spain . For obvious reason it was sacked several times by the pirates Drake and Morgan. It's well preserved fortress, customs house and black Christ are worth seeing.

Policy:
OUR RATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

MINIMUM STAY: Given Coral Lodge’s remote location and the numerous leisure, nature, adventure and cultural related activities offered, we strongly recommend a minimum stay of 4 nights. During high season, longer stays will be given priority over reservation requests for shorter stays.

CHILDREN POLICY: Because Coral Lodge’s bungalows and walkways are over the water children under age 10 are not allowed for safety reasons. Given the type of activities available at Coral Lodge, we do not recommend booking with us if you plan to bring children and/or adolescents over 10 years of age unless you are certain they will enjoy nature related activities and will not create a disturbance to other guest who want to relax and enjoy our unique setting. We do not have TV, internet, video games or activities designed for children and since a number of situations could be hazardous for them, parents must exercise care and control of their children at all times. We do not allow rough or boisterous behavior.

PAYMENTS: Until payment by credit cards are available.

DEPOSITS: A deposit of 30% of your total invoice is required within 10 days of confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation without notice if payment is not received during that period.

PAYMENT OF BALANCE: The balance of your invoice is to be received at least 30 days prior to your arrival date. As our accommodation is limited, if we do not receive the balance by the due date, we may assume that you have cancelled your proposed stay with us.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be made and received by Coral Lodge in writing either by email or fax. The following fees apply for cancellations as a percentage of the total invoice value and are deducted from the deposit and/or payment:

DAYS NOTIFIED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL DATE:
More than 60 days notice - 10 % administration fee
From 30 to 59 days notice - 20 % cancellation fee
From 15 to 30 days notice - 50% cancellation fee
Less than 15 days notice - 100% cancellation fee
No refunds for No Shows or days not used resulting from late arrival or premature departure.

UN-OFFICAL CANELLATION POLICY: The above is our official policy however, in most cases we will return the entire deposit less the administration fee if the room nights cancelled are re-sold. In these cases your deposit can also be used for rescheduled reservations.

LAST MINUTE RESERVATIONS: Payments for last minute reservations will be arranged with our reservation manager and should be made prior to travel to the lodge.

GRATUITIES: Gratuities for hotel staff are included in your package rates. The amount included cover the following: waiters, bartender, maids, laundry workers, kitchen and miscellaneous hotel staff. Not included are gratuities for excursion and tour guides, boat captains and boat hands. If they or any of our staff members have made your trip extra special, a personal tip to them is appreciated and welcomed.

INSURANCE: We strongly recommend that you travel with a comprehensive travel insurance policy to protect yourself and those traveling with you in the event of illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellations and other contingencies.

RESPONSIBILITY: You are responsible for your own safety at all times. Please be advised that Coral Lodge and its parent company is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal equipment and property or personal injuries sustained during your stay with us, or during your participation in any of our sponsored activities. For your own safety, please follow any and all directions and instructions given to you by our staff and those responsible for sponsored activities. Guests participating in scuba diving activities are required to sign an indemnity release form prior to instruction/diving. We will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside our control such as late arrival of International flights, civil disturbance, natural disasters, unusually severe weather, acts of government, acts of terrorism, or the failure of any machinery, equipment or transportation vehicle.
