Accommodation is available for up to 6 people, ensuring you receive personalized, relaxed and professional service. The lodge has a warm golden wooden interior, with many rooms having superb views. Four comfortable bedrooms with either king or single beds, with their own ensuites or private bathroom facilities. Each designed for your comfort. There is always something to watch whether it be the hawks hunting along the ridge-top, wild turkeys & geese, or the farm animals.
The tranquil views from Anglers Retreat would rival any in New Zealand. At night only 3 sets of lights can be seen on the lodge side of the lake, the rest across the water 32km away. The night sky’s are beautiful, because there are no city street lights illuminating the sky, the stars are incredibly visible, with the Milky Way and Southern Cross easily seen. Rainbows have even been observed at night under the full moon. Stroll around the beautiful gardens, or sit and drink in the views from the extensive decks.
MEALS: Anglers Retreat is known for its superb food and good wine. Fresh local produce is used. Meals provided are: continental/cooked breakfast; lunch and 4 course dinner.

Required Deposit is 20% to secure the booking. Fully refundable if cancelled up to 60 days prior to commencement date. After 60 days only refundable if the time is resold. We advise clients to carry travel insurance. We accept Mastercard & Visa. Final Payment: - Full payment becomes due 30 days prior to commencement of the booking.

You choose if you want our standard rate or upgrade to our premier rate and include cooked breakfast and cocktail hour. Rates start from as little as NZ$290 day for accommodation and meals only. Special rates for bed and breakfasts.
GUIDED FLY FISHING
Includes modern 4x4 transport. Max 2 anglers per guide. Rates start at NZ$495 per day, you choose if you would like gear and licenses included.
