Welcome to Northway Outfitters. Fully licensed and operated since 1983, this is a "family style" operated business. Your hosts were born and raised in New Brunswick in the early forties at a time when hunting and fishing was a necessity to help feed a large family! During that time they gained knowledge and respect for all natural resources and wildlife in New Brunswick. The Lodge only accepts a maximum of nine guests per week and our wish is to cater to our guests in the same manner we would wish to be treated.
Northway Outfitters offers some of the best hunting and fishing that be can found anywhere in Atlantic Canada. Whether your preference is for Black Bear, Whitetail Deer, Moose, Woodcock or Grouse, we offer challenging hunts for trophy game and have had a better than 90% client return rate over the past few years. Our expertise comes from more than 35 years of guiding experience, paying close attention to detail and always being willing to try different methods of hunting and Bear baiting.
New Brunswick, Canada, has always been famous for plentiful (and BIG) Black Bear as well as great whitetail hunting and our area is one of the great producers of these trophies! Our hunting packages offer comfortable accommodation, great food, experienced guides and a memorable experience. We also offer Atlantic Salmon, Trout and Bass fishing for those of you who wish to bring along your tackle or if family members accompany you on your trophy hunt.

Our comfortable 3 star rated lodge and cabins offer our guests a relaxing environment following a days hunting. Each cabin is fully furnished with individual single beds, clean linen and blankets, air conditioned, electric stove and refrigerator, electric heat and bathroom with flush, basin and showers. All-you-can-eat meals (breakfast and dinner) are all home cooked and served "family style" in our modern and well-equipped dining lodge. Sandwiches are packed and supplied for your lunch break.

Northway is not just about hunting and fishing! There is much to see and do for non-hunting companions or vacationers or for hunters that score early in the week during their stay with us. Some area interests are:

Location:
It is only 32 miles from the Canada/US border at Houlton Maine, and 5 miles from the lumbering town of Nackawic.
Policy:
* Reservations - to obtain the dates you wish to hunt, we strongly suggest that you make your reservations early. To book, we require a $400.00 US non-refundable deposit for each person 16 years of age or older. The balance is due upon arrival and may be paid in cash, certified or travelers cheques.
* Personal cheques are accepted as deposits only and should be made payable to "Northway Outfitters Ltd."
* While deposits are non-refundable, they can be used as a credit on a future hunt within 12 months of the cancellation date.
* Hand guns are not allowed in Canada.
* New Brunswick does not allow hunting or discharging firearms on Sunday.
* We enforce a zero tolerance on consuming alcholic beverages before or while hunting.
* One weeks hunting is from Sunday PM to Saturday 10 AM.

BLACK BEAR & DEER: 5 day hunt
* Arrive Sunday P.M. - to Saturday 10 A.M.
* Black Bear - 1 guide to 3 hunters - $1,500.00 US per person
* Black Bear - 1 guide to 1 hunter - $1,900.00 US per person
* Whitetail Deer - $1,500.00 US per person (price includes: accommodation, guides, bear bait, return transportation to hunt areas, 2 meals per day in lodge (breakfast & dinner), and 1 bagged lunch to take out.)
WOODCOCK & GROUSE: daily hunt
* $300.00 US per person per day (price includes guide, meals and lodging)
* Transportation (min charge $50.00) - $25.00 US per person per day
* Transportation for hunting is the responsibility of the client unless previous arrangements have been made. This fee only charged if we supply transportation.
Please Note:
All regular hunting rates are based on a "one guide to 3 hunters" ratio and all individual or "2 hunter" parties should expect to be paired up with other hunters. License fees and season dates are subject to governmental change. License fees and taxes are extra and are not included in above hunting rates.
