Self catering fishing cabins located at a Anishinabi Lodge in Nothwestern Ontario, 50 miles north of Vermilion Bay in the heart of Sunset Country's most remote and unspoiled wilderness. Anishinab offers some of the finest Lake Trout, Walleye and Northern Pike fishing and fall Bear hunting in Northern Ontario. Your stay at Anishinabi will prove to be one of the most adventurous fishing trips you've ever experienced. Fly-in or drive to our pick up point some miles south of the camp.
Anishinabi Lodge and Outpost is the only camp in our wonderful and mammoth sized fishery located in a preserve of 8,400 acres in Ontario's most remote and untouched fly-in wilderness. Your stay at the lodge or outpost doesn't limit you to one lake. We have boats and motors located at our camp on Anishinabi Lake and also on a half dozen other walleye and pike lakes accessible over short portages.
Anishinabi Lodge is a quiet and secluded lodge catering to serious fishermen and families and small groups that demand good accommodation, wonderful fishing, reliable boats, almost silent and smokeless four stroke Honda outboard motors and solid professional management. Our remote location plus your choice of many lakes filled with Lake Trout, Northern, and Walleye, ensure an excellent and successful fishing getaway.

Anishinabi Lodge features light housekeeping cabins nestled among tall pines, secluded, private and overlooking the scenic vista of Anishinabi Lake. The cabins include most modern conveniences and are decorated with a warm, rustic appeal. Each cabin features six comfortable bunk beds, with mattresses, propane lights, refrigerator, a 4-burner stove with oven, all cooking and eating utensils and a wood burning stove to keep you warm and cozy on cool nights.
In the office cabin there is a radio telephone and a freezer for storing your fish. In a separate building, just a few steps from your cabin, a toasty warm sauna is ready every night for your relaxation.

FISHING- Anishinabi Lake is broken into numerous bays featuring weed beds, rock reefs, and islands- ideal locations for trout and northern pike. Anishinabi Lodge and Outpost are the only residences on more than 8,400 acres of water in Ontario's scenic wilderness. From our lodge or outpost you have access to over 9 different lakes filled with your favourite catches- Lake Trout, Northern, and Walleye.
HUNTING- Anishinabi Lodge offers bear hunting in the in the fall. Non guided hunts $1500.00 US Per Person. Baited sites daily. Seven days hunt. Bait and stands included. We have an 80% success rate with our seasonal bear hunts. You can choose from guided or non-guided bear hunts, it's your choice! And for those interested in small game hunting, we also offer ruffled grouse hunting in the fall.
