Pulisan Jungle Beach Resort is a small charming cottage resort with basic facilities located on North Sulawesi's most beautiful long white sandy beach in wildromantic surroundings - just around Cape Pulisan which is the northeastern - most tip of Sulawesi and opposite Bangka island. A great place for nature lovers and snorkelers/divers.We offer snorkeling, diving, nature walking, trips to Tangkoko nature reserve, birdwatching, dolphin tours, fishing, paddling etc. Regarding PADI courses our divecenter is supported by Thalassa 5* PADI gold palm which has it's main base at Manado's Santika hotel. We dive and snorkel in three areas, which is off the rugged Sulawesi mainland, Bangka island archipelago which exceeds Bunaken in beauty and diversity and Macro photographers’ paradise of Lembeh Strait. Locations can be reached in 5 - 70 minutes boat drive. We use custom made wooden dive boats, each with two new 40 HP engines, sundeck and cabin. Our diveguides are long experienced in the waters around and can show you all the stuff you would miss out on otherwise. What about a frogfish, a pygmee seahorse, a ghostpipe fish or a spanish dancer? From very small up to pelagic creatures - you'll get it all.
Apart from diving there are lots of nature activities like jungle or volcano trekking. The beach is perfect for sunbathing, walking, jogging, swimming, snorkeling, birdwatching.
It is a 2 hour drive from Manado, 1 hour 15 minutes from the airport.
Muck and critter dives in Lembeh Strait; haven for macro photographers abundance of soft corals and sponges off Bangka island; nudibranches, groupers, parrot bumpheads, napoleon wrasses; rays incuding manta, dugong, turtles, pygmee seahorse and frogfish.
