Pickerel Bay Cabins located on Lac LaRonge in Saskatchewan, Canada offers some of the finest Walleye fishing to be found in our Province. Trophy Walleye, and Lake Trout are common catches on La Ronge, regardless of the anglers skill level. Our Northern Pike fish charter is one of a kind, on the lake, and produces the best Pike fishing available on La Ronge. We are a full service Resort and Outfitter. Clients can opt. for the American plan and enjoy three excellent meals a day in our main lodge, or the light housekeeping plan. We can also provide fishing gear for the beginner angler at no extra Families are welcome and pets.

Pickerel Bay Cabins is known for its genuine hospitality to all our guests, be it one individual or a group of twenty. Everyone of our anglers are accommodated exclusively, to meet your outfitting needs. Our cabins can support any size group. The cabins are constructed of logs. Inside the cabins contain a wood stove, cooking area with a propane stove and all necessary cooking wear. Electric is supplied,bedding and linens,and refrigerators.
Each cabin has been planned and located to provide our guest both a private retreat and a relaxing place after a good day of fishing.
The main lodge is also a log structure,inside contains a dining area for our Full Meal guests as well as a meeting place for everyone at Pickerel Bay. The lodge is open 24 hours a day for your enjoyment with coffee and pastries for all. Or in the evening bring your own beverages and visit others while watching our satellite T.V. and your favorite sports team play, exchanging fishing storys, or just having friendly conversations with your fellow anglers.
Our guests have full access to the ice house at no charge. The ice is harvested during the winter months on the sparkling frozen waters of Hunter Bay. We also supply centrally located individual hot showers for your convenience along with private and clean outdoor lieus. The equipment is all in excellent condition. P.F.D devices are supplied. The boats are equipped with nets, fish containers, and seats.Our boats are 16ft.deep vee,with 15 to 25 h.p. motors.
We also have a well supplied tackle shop where you can purchase the forgotten fishing lure, or the fish hook that seems to catching the fish that day.The staff at Pickerel Bay takes care of fish filletting ,freezing and vacumn packaging, at no charge.
Guest staying at Pickerel Bay Cabins have the sole privilege of the use of are other lakes that we offer.These lakes are reached by a short boat ride and a small hike.An adventure of a lifetime.

Pickerel Bay Cabins is located on the Shore of Pickerel Bay,providing a most spectacular view. This bay is one of many on the Northeast side. However, our bay happens to be a most popular spawning site for walleye.
Directly outside the bay is Hunter Bay,famous for its abundance of Lake Trout. While fishing in the Bay, we invite you take advantage of the many shore line beaches, that one can swim or just explore. The coves and small bays offer northern pike fishing. Have a shore lunch on one of many islands.
Take a tour up the Lonely River, keep an eye out along the shore line for black bear and moose.
As a guest of Pickerel Bay Cabins you have the exclusive use of our two hike in lakes. These lakes allow you to have a totally saskatchewan expierence.You will feel the true sense of solitude and peace. These lakes are strictly for your use only.Boat and motor are located at both of the lakes.Powdrill and Ellis lakes are both landlocked with fresh water streams feeding them. The main feature fish are walleye,pike and perch..
Location:
Our camp is located 40 miles North East from the town of La Ronge. Access to the resort is either by float plane or by boat from town, and is inclusive in all of our package plans.

Transportation to Pickerel Bay Cabins and return is inclusive in the package and travel is primarily via boat.
Float-plane travel is under the descretion of Pickerel Bay Cabins staff and is determined by weather, time of day, and group size.

We offer package plans. 1) American Plan-in which provide down home country style cooking in our Main lodge. Three meals a day. Everything is from scratch! Pies, pasta,breads,cakes,buns, dinner rolls, pizza, cookies etc The American plan has been very popular in the last eight years, as our dining is fantastic! Set menus each day........fish fry's are a must with us, as our specialty is walleye, fresh out of the lake! Chef John will also treat you to lake trout accompanieed by a ribeye steak, that will have you talking about it for a long time.
2) LHK/rate plan-is where you cook for yourselves in your own cabin, and have a BBQ outside your cabin.
