Set in 25 acres of pristine countryside, 1 hour's drive from Bangalore city, Shreyas offers you a luxurious home away from home. The 25 guests that can be accommodated at one time have the rare luxury of being cared for by our carefully trained staff in a secluded, private and serene environment. Belying the idea that a retreat means roughing it out, cottages at Shreyas Retreat are built for comfort. Accommodation comprises of 8 elegant and earthy garden cottages with tented canopies, enclosed courtyard & open-air shower rooms), 3 luxury poolside cottages and one luxury 3-bedroom cottage.
Each well-appointed, elegantly designed garden cottage ("Tent") sits on its own plot of land, surrounded by a generous expanse of trees and flowering shrubs and has en suite bathrooms that open onto private walled courtyards.
The 3 en-suite pool cottages that overlook the signature swimming pool are just as exclusive. Each one is conceptualised to soothe, restore and rejuvenate.
The three bedroom cottage accommodates 5 people, has its own private living area, and each tastefully decorated bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom.
Shreyas is dedicated to helping you achieve a perfect balance in body, mind and spirit. To deepen the sense of quietude, and be more in tune with your inner self, you will be attending daily yoga and meditation classes, and working with instructors on an individual basis. Lessons, which are non-denominational and suitable for everyone, cover various aspects of yoga and meditation including classical Hatha yoga postures, Mouna (silence), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Pratyahara (internalising). A dedicated yoga hall provides ample space for these lessons, and the retreat’s compound has many more areas specially created for quiet repose.
Shreyas offers a variety of yoga packages and retreats for guests wanting to deepen their knowledge and practice of these age-old, time-testes techniques. Packages can also be customized for you, depending on your specific needs and level of experience.
Meals at Shreyas are truly a fine dining experience. Shreyas serves a variety of gourmet vegetarian meals, with flavours from India, Southern Europe and the Orient. All the ingredients are organic, home-grown at Shreyas and freshly picked for meals. Shreyas is happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements or restrictions that guests may have, and plan special menus for them.
Shreyas offers many recreational activities to guests looking for fitness, rejuvenation, relaxation or simply laying back and recharging their batteries away from the stresses of daily life. Our massage centre offers expert Balinese, Thai and Swedish massages, body scrubs, aromatherapy and more. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. This deposit is refundable only if cancellations are made more than 30 days from the date of proposed arrival.
