This rainforest wildlife lodge is located on the Osa Peninsula, in the southwest corner of Costa Rica. We are halfway between Puerto Jimenez (22 kilometers) and Carate on the road to Corcovado National Park, on the Pacific side of the Peninsula just around the corner from Golfo Dulce. It is one of the most accessible rainforests you can get to, with an amazing amount of birds and wildlife to be seen from your cabin and trails.
There are many options available to you regarding transportation. For the most convenient and quickest way, we recommend flying from San Jose, or if you would like to see the sights of southern Costa Rica you may choose to rent a car. For the budget conscious, or if you would like to get a taste of local culture you can take a bus.

Deluxe "La Vainilla" - a two store cabin (up to 5 people). This is built on a spectacular spot overlooking the forest and ocean, with two bedrooms, queen bed and private bathroom in each one. The upper floor is beautifully open to the incredible view of the underlying ocean while the bottom floor is screened. Hardwood decks and hammocks let you enjoy your most precious time. This is the preferred cabin for honeymooners and couples looking for a romantic spot though it can also accommodate small family.

Each cabin is fully screened, private bath, hot water, electricity provided by a micro-hydroelectric plant, queen and single bed, hammocks and there is an ocean and forest view from the front porch.
