This rainforest wildlife lodge is located on the Osa Peninsula, in the southwest corner of Costa Rica. We are halfway between Puerto Jimenez and Carate on the road to Corcovado National Park, on the Pacific side of the Peninsula just around the corner from Golfo Dulce. It is one of the most pristine rainforests you can get to, with an amazing variety of birds and wildlife to be seen from the comfort of your cabin and our trails.
There are many options available to you regarding transportation. For the most convenient and quickest way, we recommend flying from San Jose, or if you would like to see the sights of southern Costa Rica you may choose to rent a car. For the budget conscious, or if you would like to get a taste of local culture you can take a bus.

"La Vainilla" deluxe rainforest cabin. This two-story cabin (up to 5 people) is built on a spectacular spot overlooking the forest and ocean, with two bedrooms, queen bed and private bathroom in each one. The upper floor is beautifully open to the incredible view of the underlying ocean while the bottom floor is screened. Hardwood decks and hammocks let you enjoy your most precious time in complete tranquility. This is the preferred cabin for honeymooners and couples looking for a romantic spot, and it’s also perfect for family adventures!

Each cabin is fully screened, private bathroom, hot water, electricity provided by a micro-hydroelectric plant, queen and single bed, and hammock. Each accommodation has ocean and forest views from the front porch.
