Our deluxe Alaska fishing resort is situated on Fish Lakes Creek, in the heart of southcentral Alaska’s best angling destination. Our lodge guests will be rewarded with a relaxing atmosphere, outstanding Alaskan cuisine and enough memories to last until they return again. The owners goal is that each of our guests leave as good friends and that their fishing vacation with us exceeds their expectations.
Fishing our wild Alaska rivers offers the opportunity to experience nature at its best whether your method of fishing is fly fishing or spin fishing. Fishing is done directly from our Alaska fishing lodge in our 20’ custom built boats. Our experienced guides are all CPR and first-aid trained and Coast Guard Licensed. They are proficient in both fly and spin fishing and are there to assist you in catching fish. We provide top of the line G-Loomis rods with Shimano spinning reels or Abu Garcia Bait Casters. We also have a small supply of G-Loomis fly rods and reels for the fisherman who would like to learn to fly fish. Whether the fish are upstream or at the mouth of the rivers, your guide has a prop boat and a jet boat at their disposal to get you to the fish.
Property amenities:
Accessible only by air or water, Northwoods provides a specialized service for a maximum of 16 guests. A large spacious dining room with native birch wainscoting and two lounge areas provide a comfortable place to visit and share stories after a day of fishing. The dining room also serves well for corporate meetings.
Enjoy a beautiful view of Fish Lakes Creek from our individual guest cabins. Three deluxe cabins with full bath or three standard cabins with a bathhouse close by are available. Our screened in porch and large spacious deck overlooking Fish Lakes Creek are an excellent place for relaxing or for that corporate meeting.

GREAT ALASKA FISHING - Lake Creek and other fresh water tributaries of the Yentna River have some of the most productive salmon runs in Alaska. Our USCG licensed fishing guides will take you out on our custom boats to fish for huge King Salmon, Silvers, Pinks and Sockeyes, Arctic Grayling, Rainbow Trout and Northern Pike.
WHITEWATER RAFTING ADVENTURES - Enjoy a 70 mile, four or five day deluxe guided whitewater fishing adventure deep in the wilds of scenic Alaska with our experienced guides.
ALASKA WILDLIFE VIEWING - See black bears, grizzly bears, moose, fox, wolf, beaver and and a wide assortment of birds including eagles, owls, ducks, geese, and more on our fabulous raft trips, lodge stays or a fly out bear viewing trip - a paradise for the wildlife photographer.
WINTER TRAVEL ACTIVITIES - Enjoy dog sledding, cross country skiing, snowmachining, ice fishing, Iditarod sled dog race viewing, wildlife and northern lights viewing during a winter stay.
