Our jungle lodge has 21 comfortable palm-thatched cottage rooms including two luxury garden suites nestled along the riverside in a setting of unmatched beauty and tranquility. Travelers share stories and relax at our verandah bar before enjoying delicious meals in the Chaa Creek restaurant. Guests interact with nature while exploring the river, miles of well-maintained forest trails, Maya temple sites, and through activities such as hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, mountain biking and bird watching. Wildlife abounds, and over 250 species of birds have been sighted within the reserve.
The Spa at M11439, which opened in February 2000, is set above the Macal River with a panoramic view of the Maya Mountains and lush Belizean rainforest. Along with our professional staff and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, the Spa provides a tranquil and extraordinary sensory experience that promotes harmony between the inner and outer self.
We are an affiliate of the renowned international Pevonia network, and offer a complete range of services including massage therapies, facials, body wraps and scrubs, hydro and aroma therapies, and feature the latest in spa technology such as a massaging Vichy Shower.

An educational adventure day on the reserve combines activities such as canoeing, mountain biking and horseback riding with the expertise of our licensed naturalist guides to give visitors a well rounded, comprehensive introduction to the unique natural and cultural riches of Belize. Anyone’s experience in Belize will be greatly enhanced by the knowledge and understanding they’ll acquire by participating in our programs.
In addition to our on-site activities, competitively priced personalized tours can be easily arranged from our front desk. As one of the largest and most experienced tour operators in Belize, we can arrange an itinerary to any part of Belize, including the coast and cayes, as well as to Peten, Guatemala, to suit a wide variety of individual interests. Policy:
Deposit & Cancellation Policy: We require an immediate deposit of 30% of the total net due, with full payment 45 days in advance of arrival.
A full refund minus $60 USD handling fee will be made on cancellations 60 days or more prior to the scheduled trip. Cancellations 60 - 45 days in advance a 50% refund will be given. Cancellations 45 days or less prior to arrival no refund will be given.
No refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing trips or tours for any reason whatsoever. Land cost is quoted as a package and credits are not given for services not used.

Tikal: For those choosing the Tikal tour, the Visa/Border Exit-Entry/Guatemalan guide fees are not included in this package. Fees are presently in the range of $45 US per person and a $25.00 Vehicle Crossing Fee, through the exact amount has been fluctuating for the past few months. The fees being out of the control of The Lodge at Chaa Creek, makes their inclusion in the package difficult at this time.
Children’s rates do not include spa activities.
