The Swiss owned and operated M11454 in Costa Rica is surrounded by the primary rainforest of Piedras Blancas National Park and the clear waters of the Golfo Dulce. Its location next to rainforest and National Park makes it a unique place to observe a wide variety of wild life, includig Scarlet Macaws. The secluded eco-lodge is located on a 400-acre private reserve bording Piedras Blancas National Park and within 300 yards from the gulf, making it ideal for various activities such as birdwatching, kayaking, jungle hikes, etc. Our gourmet kitchen is well know in the wider neighborhood.
The M11454 consists of more than 300 hectares (750 acres) and was bought to conserve the existing virgin rainforest, and to set up a small place for nature and animal lovers to experience the magnificent world of an almost untouched environment on an individual basis, far away from tourist crowds.
The lodge offers boat tours to the mangroves of the Esquinas River and different hikes leading through various ecosystems such as primary and secondary rainforest, an extensive heliconia field, fruit trees and pasture. An easy accessible, safe observation platform invites for birding and nature studies. The platform can also be reached within 20 minutes on a self-guided tour with an educational description of the most interesting plants growing along the path.

Deposit payment by Credit Card in US$ of 50% at reservation date is requested to hold and confirm any reservation. The balance is to be paid at lodge upon arrival, this either in traveler's checks or in cash (US$ or Colones). Due to the remote location unfortunately neither personal checks nor credit cards can be accepted to pay balance.
Cancellation and no-show policy:
No refund will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made less than seven days prior to the reservation date. A 50% refund based on all outlined services will be issued for cancellations made seven to 14 days prior to the reservation date.
A full refund minus a $50 administration fee, will be issued for cancellations made more than 15 days prior to reservation date.
