M12198 is a unique historic hot springs resort only two hours north of San Francisco. M12198 offers the only naturally warm and carbonated mineral baths in North America.
Guests overnight for bed & breakfast in rooms and cottages including use of these famous "champagne" baths as the well as hot soaking pool, Olympic size swimming pool (in summer) and 700 acres for nature walking and hiking. Full buffet breakfast is also included for guests. Other meals are five minutes away in Ukiah.

The facilities at M12198 include: mountain-view rooms, creek side rooms, a suite (two queen beds) and cottages. Rooms all have hardwood floors, one queen or two twin beds and common front porch overlooking the landscaped grounds.
The cottages are available with either one or two bedrooms and have kitchens, private porches (perfect for stargazing) and can comfortably accommodate more than two guests. Japanese style futons are available for additional guests in rooms or cottages and the suite and cottages have sofa-beds.
The facilities at M12198 are also available for day use. Which, like the rooms and cottages, include full use of the naturally warm and carbonated "Vichy" mineral baths, olympic size pool, walking or hiking on Vichy’s 700-acre ranch and optional massage and facial services from 8am-9pm.
Nearby attractions and activities:
Mendocino County offers many varied climates and terrain due to its huge geographical size. Within one half hour of Vichy Springs and Ukiah are 35 wineries, three museums, Lake Mendocino (water-skiing, sailing, jet skiing and fishing), the Russian River, golf, Cow Mountain Wilderness Reserve (BLM property), bicycling, hiking, Montgomery Woods State Park (redwoods), shopping, restaurants, micro breweries, the Skunk Train, brandy distilleries, live theatre, movies, motocross (South Cow Mountain), mountain biking, and river and lake fishing.
Within an hour’s drive additional redwoods more lakes, rivers and volcanoes. One and one half hours from M12198 one arrives at the Pacific Ocean, and the coastal towns of Albion, Ft. Bragg, and Mendocino. There are three distinct scenic routes to the coast.
All of the above are located amongst oak/madrone woodlands, ranches, farms, vineyards, orchards, redwood and fir forests with spectacularly beautiful scenery everywhere. Local shops and artisans abound throughout the county. Some of their wares are displayed in the resort gift shop and M12198’ staff can direct you to their studios/shops.

Policy:
Reservations: Advance reservations are recommended. A deposit equivalent to your stay is required to secure your reservation. This can be made with a credit card guarantee, cash or personal check. A two night minimum stay is required for certain periods.
Cancellations: In order to receive a refund, cancellations must be made seven days in advance of arrival date, fourteen days in advance during holiday and special periods. A $15.00 handling fee per accommodation will be charged for all cancellations. There is no refund for early departures. We require a 30-day notice of cancellation for group bookings (three or more rooms).
Check In and Check Out: Check-in is 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Please advise if you will be arriving later. Check-out is 12:00 noon from your accommodations and the grounds. Early arrivals and late departures for the purpose of day use subject to a $23.00 per person day use fee for baths and pool. Room use past check-out time must be approved by management and is subject to a $15.00 per hour fee.
Please Note: Bathing suits are required in all facilities. All rooms and buildings are non-smoking. Smoking outside is permitted in designated areas. Pets are not allowed anywhere on the property including the parking lot.
