Located in Bath The Windsor is one of the newest Townhouse guest house's. The Windsor occupies a grade 1 listed building one of the finest Georgian Boulevards in Europe. The guest house has been designed to recreate a "Home away from Home" atmosphere. The space has been optimized to maximize the use of the existing Georgian and Victorian features of this magnificent Townhouse.
There are rooms with views facing either the Georgian facades of the city inspired by Palladio or the hills to the South, rooms using the old kitchens, the original servants bedrooms or for the more adventurous, the Bathwick Room which utilizes the old vaults in the basement of the guest house. The emphasis has been to provide an informal but discrete environment, providing something different to larger chain guesthouses.
The entire Guest Houseis a no smoking premises, each room has separate Broadband (ADSL) access, Sky Sports News and CNN. The Guest House also has a 24 hour residential licence. An Internet desk is also available in the lounge for guests use during their stay. The guesthouse also has a number of private parking spaces as well as access to parking permits. Given the guesthouses proximity to the rail and bus stations and its own central location and size of the city there is minimal need for a car during your stay.
The Guest House location in the centre of the town makes it an ideal place to explore this World Heritage city by foot. As one of the Bath townhouses of the late Georgian and early Regency periods the guesthouse is ideally situated to visit the Roman Baths, explore the Abbey, discover the streets walked by Jane Austen or relive the days of Georgian era exhibited at the Building of Bath Museum. The city is also full of small and informative museums and for those with more refined tastes the small and quaint shops as well as a large and excellent range of restaurants.

The Windsor has 10 uniquely styled and furnished bedrooms which were completely refurbished in 2000. All rooms are fully ensuite and all are non smoking. Each room has separate Broadband (ADSL) access, Sky news, CNN and 10 additional channels. Direct dial telephone, hairdryers and Shaver points are available in each room. Coffee and Tea are complimentary throughout your stay and can be served in your room or in the lounge.

General Booking Information:
No Smoking: The Windsor Guesthouse is strictly non smoking throughout. Saturday Night: In general we only accept a Saturday night booking in conjunction with a Friday or Sunday.
Cancellation: We will require written advance notice of any cancellation. Please familiarise yourself with our cancellation policy in which we stress the importance of taking out travel insurance to protect yourself against any financial loss.
Payment: We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Diners Club, Switch, Travellers Cheques and Cash. Cheques can only be accepted if supported by a valid cheque card.
Check in: Check in time is 2.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. The Guesthouse is staffed 24 hours and the night porter can accept check ins after 10.00 p.m. For arrivals prior to 2.00 p.m., we cannot guarantee room availability but we will be happy to store your baggage. Check out: Check out time is 11.00 a.m. and 12.00 a.m. on Sundays. Late check out may be possible, please contact reception.
Parking: Parking spaces are available behind the guesthouse and we also have 6 residents' parking permits.

Save up to £245 by booking a Spa package. The Windsor Guesthouse and Frontline Beauty Salon Spa have got together to offer a Spa package break. Packages are available for either 2 or 3 days from Sunday through Thursday

* 50% deposit must be made at time of booking
* Each package includes a 2 hour revive package. For incremental packages ass £50 for a 4 hour pampering package or £110 for a 6 hour indulgence package.
* Spa packages can be divided among both participants
