This beautiful private retreat is located at the southern tip of Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula. Enjoy the harmony of this pristine natural setting with virgin coastal rainforest and ocean beaches right at your doorstep. Each house comes complete with kitchens and refrigeration, private baths connected to garden showers, electric lighting with bed-room fans, hammocks, an outdoor barbecue and, a cooling pool of creek water.
Beautiful nature trails, abundant with unusual flora and fauna, lead from the Rancho in all directions. There are short hikes to a 20 meter waterfall, to the top of the Cape and through the dry coastal forest that runs adjacent to the numerous world class surfing beaches of Matapalo.
Property amenities:
A bilingual chef is now available to prepare all meals for our guests. Fabulous tropical fruits and organically grown vegetables flow from our experimental green houses and surrounding gardens. Outdoor dining is communal on the large veranda of the Main Rancho and All Meals Included in the price of your stay.
In addition, there is a laundry facility, television and VCR to playback your still and video photography, a cooling pool of artesian creek water, outdoor barbeque, stereo cd, cassette and mp3 player, completely screened bedrooms with individual fans and lights, 12volt charging stations for laptop and camera batteries. A game table is always set up for chess players. Local neighbors are always looking for active volunteers to play on our beautiful grass volleyball court.

World class surfing, tree-climbing, swimming, bird watching, ocean kayaking, waterfall repelling, on and offshore fishing and an abundance of exciting nature trails leading through the surrounding rainforest, to a 60 foot waterfall or along the endless beaches of Cabo Matapalo that face the front of the property. Booking Procedures: To quickly determine the availability of lodgings, please fill out the Reservation Inquiry form. Because of the increased numbers of "walk-in" guests, we always advise making reservations as far in advance as possible. Reservations are guaranteed after receipt of a 20% reservation deposit. Full balance may be paid either in advance in the U.S. or upon arrival in Costa Rica. Cancellations made prior to 30 days of arrival date will receive back deposit monies minus a 15% service charge plus wire transfer fees if applicable. * Rates exclude Christmas/New Years period.
