Pit River Lodge is surrounded by world-class trout fishing waters including Fall River, Hat Creek, Pit River and Baum Lake.
The Pit River Lodge is located in one of the most picturesque and unspoiled areas in California. Surrounded by volcanoes, the region has a turbulent geologic history that is evident in the unique natural structures and terrain.
Step back to another era with a stay at this unique Lodging facility. Originally built to support one of California's earliest hydroelectric projects, the Lodge is one of the finest examples of early 20th Century Craftsman style architecture in the state.
Pit River Lodge maintains private access on Fall River and Hat Creek, and fishing on the Pit River is within a short walk of the Lodge.
All our cottages are light and airy, each with an ambiance all its own. Enjoy the view of our expansive lawns and catch a glimpse of the deer and other wildlife that inhabit the area.

Our facility can accommodate groups of up to 40 people and is ideal for corporate retreats, family reunions, and weddings.
The large conference room in the Lodge is great for group meetings and our restaurant staff can provide your group with a custom menu to suit your taste and budget.
