One can reach Village Akmacici after 7km from Nova Varoš by asphalt road, towards village Božetici and turning left by the restaurant “Božur” and two Wood-processing factories, after 5 km one get to Gujanicic’s Mala /tiny village/. Those that occasionally come or come on purpose, looking for the perfect pure nature, are welcomed by the most enthusiastic people with great smile and big heart, living exactly at the griffon vulture cliff.
“The house at the griffon vulture cliff” is the genuine mountainous household built by highlanders devoted to the nature and its invigorating and rough characteristics of stone rocks and wood covering, at the altitude of over 1.200 m, to resist from heavy show, winds or sunny rays. During cold winters the whole area becomes the challenge even for the bravest visitors, when the snow cover is blended with the horizon.
Nearby there are vultures habitats situated on descent cliffs overlooking the remarkable Uvac canyon, justifying pure preserved nature with its unique signs: clear water springs, fresh air, peaceful tranquility only randomly disturbed by some insects or the vulture's wings sounds when exploring the heights.
Depending on the period of stay, visitors can enjoy taking walks through spacious mountain meadows and orchards, picking up the medicinal herbs and mushrooms, adrenalin sports in the Uvac canyon, handcrafts from past times of the local highlanders.
