Our lodge prides itself on its’ sumptuous, home-style cuisine; luxurious thatched accommodation and friendly attentive service, where guests are assured of a truly unique and genuine bush experience. Its motto is "Arrive as a visitor and leave as a friend."
The camp offers 2 accommodation options being 11 luxury bungalows and 4 executive suites. All rooms are air-conditioned, have en-suite bathrooms and mosquito proofing ensuring maximum comfort during your stay.
Lodge facilities include a traditional, open-air boma; a spacious lounge and bar over-looking a beautiful dam; an art gallery exhibiting original wildlife art, a fully-equipped conference room and a refreshing swimming pool. The Lodge accommodates 30 guests in either luxury bungalows (11) or executive suites (4). The suites, which are somewhat larger than the bungalows also, offer a mini-bar and outdoor showers where guests can get that much closer to nature.
Game-drives are conducted in the early morning and late afternoon, when the animals are most active and the scenery at its most spectacular.
Optional excursions such as guided bush walks, visits to bird-hides and bush banqueting are also available.
The Lodge is well equipped to cater for conference and incentive groups. Our fully equipped, air-conditioned conference room comfortably accommodates up to 30 delegates. We will gladly design itineraries for groups, ensuring optimum productivity in a relaxed & peaceful setting. Equipment available for conferencing includes TV & VCR, Slide & Overhead Projectors, Flip Charts, Panaboard and White Boards.
The lodge also has its own private landing strip for those who wish to charter aircraft directly into the reserve.

South African Express Airways offers fly-in safaris to the lodge for stays of 1 to 3 nights (we recommend a 3 night stay). There are daily scheduled flights from Johannesburg International, Cape Town International and Sun City to Hoedspruits’ Eastgate Airport.
As soon as all are ready, you set out on the morning game-drive in an open Land Rover; the cool morning air still crisp and fresh scents abound.
Game drives are between 3 – 4 hours in duration during which your ranger will unveil natures’ secrets for you. You will also bear witness to the ancient & patient art of tracking big game and perhaps even get to sample some local bush delicacies.
