Our Lodge is an intimate, luxury lodge which has all the modern facilities to ensure that our guests enjoy a pampered and comfortable stay, yet retains a relaxed and homely atmosphere. This Lodge is situated on the Monwana River in the heart of the big five Thornybush Game Reserve, which is more than 100 square kilometres in extent and lies adjacent to the Greater Kruger National Park.
Our Lodge boasts four luxurious suites and we also offer a pilot/guide unit. We can accommodate 14 people (7 singles), including the pilot/guide. All the suites at Monwana have been named after South African tribes.

Usually after game drives we will meet at the bar for a drink before dinner, or in the lounge where there is a TV, video machine and DSTV decoder with a selection of wildlife videos to watch.
Brunch can be enjoyed at the brunch table situated outside overlooking the waterhole. Dinner can also be enjoyed on the large deck area which extends over the Monwana river.
