M12245 Resort & Spa is a private hideaway in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean. You can find us in one of the last unspoiled place on hearth, the Cook Islands. The resort is situated on its own secluded islet on the Island of Aitutaki and is right on the edge of the magnificent Aitutaki lagoon and is linked by a causeway to the main island.
The resort offers 7 Overwater bungalows, 5 beachfront suites, 9 lagoon view bungalows, 16 deluxe garden bungalows and 3 motel style units. With the help of the local islanders the bungalows have been decorated using platted kikau for the roofs, handwoven pandanus wall matting, coconut hemp rope and locally carved artifacts. M12245 Resort & Spa offers island hospitality and gracious service in an ambiance that is intimate, casual and convivially relaxed within which to unwind and let the rest of the world slip away.

All bungalows are air-conditioned, ceiling fan, mini bar, direct dial international telephone, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities. The overwater bungalows have an outdoor shower enclosed by a private tropical garden. The large terrace area has direct access to the lagoon. Beachfront suites are adjacent to a white sand beach and the bedroom, has been raised to take advantage of the magnificent lagoon view. Lagoon view bungalows are only a few steps from the edge of the lagoon with views to the main island. Deluxe garden bungalows are set amongst lush tropical gardens and soft white sand. The motel style units are attached to the main complex and, if mainly used for day rooms, still offer the same service and amenities as the bungalows.
The resort offers a convenience boutique, Satellite TV and video, volleyball court as well as complimentary snorkeling equipment, canoes, kayaks and windsurfers. The Resort’s tour desk can arrange motor scooters, bicycles, cars, island tours, lagoon cruises, diving, deep sea fishing to name a few. The resort has two restaurants; the lagoon restaurant 'are kaikai' and Ru's beach bar both offering a la carte and theme nights under the stars.

The Resort features a 7 Day Free Activities Programme which includes use of kayaks and snorkelling gear. Lagoon Cruises depart daily from the Resort's wharf - located approximately 50 metres from the resort's lobby. 9 hole golf course, numerous restaurants, car/motorscooter/bike hire available from the resort. Guided walks, game fishing, bone fishing also available.
