M13062 is the camp base for scientific whale watching (june-september). The island is also steeped in history and there is much to discover. In the 18th century Sainte Marie was used by pirates such Thomas White, David William as a hideaway on the spice route. The famous Captain Kid boat and treasure was found in 2000 the US Barry Clifford team.
