Water Valley Lodge is located in Choctaw County, southwest Alabama. Rolling hills and timber have dominated the landscape since prehistoric times when this part of the world was a seabed. Always known for its timber, southwest Alabama has some of the best hunting in the deep south. Water Valley Lodge offers some of the finest whitetail deer hunting, turkey hunting and wild boar hunting in Alabama. Located in Chocatw County, Southwest Alabama, Water Valley Lodge offers a quality hunting experience. We hunt over 30,000 acres, for mature whitetail deer, eastern turkey and wild boar. Our liberal limits, one buck each day, one doe over the course of your hunt and unlimited wild hogs make for the hunting experience of a lifetime.
Hog hunting: During deer season at Water Valley hog hunting is considered a bonus hunt. In addition to being allowed one buck each day, you are allowed to take unlimited hogs when hunting whitetail deer at Water Valley. There are no limits on the sex or the size of hogs you take. If you want to book a hog (only) hunt at Water Valley, you must come out of deer season. We have a two day minimum on our hog hunts. Turkey hunting at Water Valley Lodge is a special treat. You are assigned a guide who will know the layout of the land, will have turkeys located and will call the turkey for you if you so desire.
Property amenities:
Our 22,000 square feet facility was designed to maximize the comfort of all our guests. Meals are taken in our spacious Dining Hall. When you’re not hunting, eating or sleeping, our lounge is the room for you. You can play pool, watch our big screen tv, play cards, or just relax while reading a book or talking with other hunters. Our sleeping quarters are locted away from the hustle and bustle of the lodge. All rooms have a private bathroom. At Water Valley Lodge, we do not mix parties so you never have to worry about sharing a room with someone you don’t know.
Water Valley has sleeping facilities available for up to 44 people. The bunkhouse will accommodate 28 people in bunk beds. We have recently added 8 additional rooms that will sleep another 16 people. Each room has a full bathroom, with some rooms having two. We feel that private baths are very important, as sharing one with strangers generally is not comfortable.
Meals are taken in a very large dining room that has a fireplace and TV. Your guides will meet you here in the mornings before the hunt. This a good place to watch the weather and plan for the hunts.
Built for after hours is Water Valley’s lounge. Here is a place for relaxing, watching the big screen TV in front of the fireplace or shooting a game of pool. The important thing about the lounge is it allows hunters to stay up late without disturbing other hunters who want to rest. It is separate from the sleeping quarters so people who go to bed early will not be disturbed.

* Mounts - $150.00 handling fee plus taxidermist’s charge.
* Non hunter $150.00 per day
* Spectators $250.00 per day

Arrive the afternoon before your first scheduled hunt for orientation, check-in, site in your rifle, and dinner (supper).
