Set in a deeply indented mangrove fringed bay, Matasawalevu is surrounded by dense tropical rain forest clad slopes. A steep walk to the church, high on a hill, overlooks the entire bay and out across the Great Astrolabe Reef. This is one of the most magnificent views Kadavu has to offer.
