This Health Retreat offers two weeks fasting and detoxification programs with fruit and vegetable juices and vegetable broth. With the fasting juices we take psyllium and bentonite powders. Between the juices various herbs are taken to effect cleansing of the entire gastric intestinal track, the elimination of toxins, heavy metals, parasites etc. from your system. To further ascertain a complete detoxification and regeneration each client gets five holistic treatments every week. These treatments are both hands on and energetic therapies.
We have massage, bicom therapie, kinesiology, reflexology, quantum, healing, reiki, homeopathy, zapping and radionics. We have a special process for eliminating unwanted heavy metals. The sauna is on every second day. Every bathroom is equipped with a "clysmatic" which is a gravity colonics unit. For those who want more massage we have an excellent masseuse who is available four days a week. The latter is an extra and is not included in the program price.
Property amenities:
We have a glass enclosed Yoga and Meditation temple. The clinic has three treatment rooms and a reading room with many books. Here we also watch videos some evenings. Otherwise the TV is out of bounds during the fasting program. We want you to experience the peace and quiet of our fasting valley and not be disturbed by outside influences. And TV watching can be very disturbing. At the lower end we have the accommodating. There is one house with 4 rooms, two single and two double rooms with bath. The mill is converted from the original mill (moinhos) and is built of stone, two single rooms with bath. Then we have two wooden cottages both with two bathrooms. Our garden is 100% organic.
Nearby attractions and activities:
One day the first week we make an excursion to the fabulous West Cost and if the weather is nice we spend some time on the beach. During the second week we take you twice to the historical town of Lagos.

Policy:
We require a deposit to reserve you a place (Euros 500, £Sterling 300, US$500 ). All other currencies 25% of program cost. We accept personal cheques, travelers cheques, Euro cheque, cash, bank draft or bank transfer, credit cards on site and PayPal online.
Refunds: Less than two weeks before program starts - The full amount is due and payable. Less than three weeks before program starts: No refund. Three weeks to six weeks before program starts: 50% refund. Six weeks to twelve weeks before program starts: 80% refund. Three months or more: 90% refund.
Our retreat is non smoking, not suitable for children or severe handicaps. All programs are two weeks duration Check in day before program start, check out on last day.
