Golden Bear Cottages, established in 1924, are nestled among historic 200 year old pines on six scenic acres in Big Bear Lake, CA. AAA approved; Diamond rated, and certified clean cabins by the famous Rest Assured Corp. Our cabins range from economy size studios for couples to 1,2,3,5 and 6 bedroom cottages for families, weddings and retreats.
All size cabins come complete with kitchens, fireplaces, maid service and all of the amenities. Outdoor recreational facilities for adults and children include a beautiful heated pool and spa, sand lot volleyball, ping pong, horseshoes, basketball, shuffleboard, and a large, secure cedar play area with swings and slides for children. Just 300 yards from the lake and marina, it is the perfect to stay for fishing and boating. Our gift shop has firewood, snacks, board games and over 2000 movies for rent.

Pleasure Point Marina is only 300 yards from the property. Halloway’s Marina is just down the street. You will get a discount coupon for your boat for both of them. The village is only about a mile away, and there are lots of good restaurants and stores closeby. You can even have pizza delivered right to your cabin.

50% deposit with your reservation. 30 day cancellation policy. Pets are only allowed in designated Pet Friendly cabins. Checkin is after 3 P.M. and checkout is at 11 A.M. But we will accommodate your special requests for early checkin or late checkout. Please contact us for details.

If you rent a mid size cabin you get 4 free tickets. Rent a large cabin and get at least 6 Full Day Lift Tickets at Snow Valley Ski Resort (just 8 miles from Golden Bear Cottages). Tickets can be used for the entire 2006 ski season. If you purchase these tickets separately, you will pay $46.00 each. Get them free, only with your Golden Bear lodging reservation.

2 days in the cottage of your choice, and a substantial savings on a massage. Your personal 1/2 hour ($30) or full hour ($50) massage is done right in the Spa Services Salon on Golden Bear Cottages AAA approved resort property, by Rachon (one Big Bear's finest certified massage therapists).
