On the adjoining large veranda you will enjoy braai (barbecue) parties, relax over a sundowner and exchange your adventures with other guests. A refreshing dip in the swimming pool will wash away the heat of an exciting day. For the active visitor we have a tennis court available. On colder evenings you can gather around a comfortable fireplace. The bar is the general meeting place before and after meals. The Lodge is situated in the heart of the Khomas Hochland, 75 km west of Windhoek. The surrounding landscape is characterized by rolling hills and high mountains, from which one can enjoy the magnificent view over the Khomas Hochland. Many riverbeds, fringed by a rich and diverse fauna and flora, carve their way through the steep, rocky hills.
A number of hiking trails, some easy and short, some longer and for the more advanced hiker, enable you to discover the beauty of nature. We also offer game/farm drives in our jeep for viewing of our endemic game such as Oryx, Mountain Zebra, Kudu, Blue Wildebeest, Warthog and many smaller animals including a large variety of birds.
