The Spa Living Retreat is a holistic approach to ultimate health and the pursuit of authentic happiness. The structured program which includes daily fitness, lessons in organic living, massage and skin and body care, guided meditation and energy balancing also leaves plenty of time for individual downtime for relaxing and personal introspection.
Our team of spa professionals has designed a retreat program that is dedicated to indulging in all the aspects of living the ultimate healthful lifestyle every day, all day. We will learn much together while bringing out the very best in you and showing you how to look and feel better than you even knew you could.
We've chosen our location to include hi-lights of Costa Rica's lush natural landscape; a tranquil oasis with plenty of adventure and opportunities for cultural exchange as well. The perfect setting to unwind, detox and de-stress, the retreat will be located at a AmaTierra yoga and wellness center in the Central Valley region and at Finca Luna Nueva Lodge, an organic bio-diverse farming estate located adjacent to The Children's Eternal Rainforest and famous Arenal Volcano in the north.
And most importantly and above all, this will be one of the most fun and enjoyable health experiences you could ever have. You will feel your childlike exuberance return as you enjoy exhilarating activities such as aqua aerobics, Latin dance class and monkey watching.
Property amenities:
AmaTierra features Casitas built on a mountainside with Private Suite. Each Suite comes with its own jacuzzi tub, private terrace and garden with outdoor seating. Hardwood furniture and a ceiling made of teak brings.
The sleeping area has a comfy queen-sized bed, and an additional double bed can be arranged in the living room if needed. Ceiling fans, a refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, phone, complementary snacks and TV/DVD player (choose a movie, free, from over 250 in our collection). AmaTierra now offers WI-FI Wireless Internet Service!

Turubari Park, just 15 minutes from AmaTierra, is an eco-adventure experience with rain forest tours, an aerial tram, butterfly garden where you can see the stunning blue morpho, horseback riding and three different options for "zipline", an exhilarating experience of flying over the canopy of trees, safely. Turubari is known to have the best canopy tours in all of Costa Rica, and is just 15 minutes' drive from AmaTierra.
Esterillas Oeste - A Stunning Pacific Coast Beach. You won't find a more beautiful beach in Costa Rica than Esterillas Oeste - just over an hour from AmaTierra. This is truly a beach lover's paradise. Palm trees overhang the white, sandy beaches and exotic Scarlet Macaws make their homes in the trees. Esterillos Oeste is located on the Central Pacific Coast, close enough to AmaTierra to include it as a day trip during your stay.
This quiet coastal village is known by locals as one of the best beach destinations in the country. Adventure lovers will enjoy excellent surf breaks, sun lovers can soak up the rays and the whole family will enjoy the cool ocean breezes. Serenity, the colorful local culture, and a beautiful view make Playa Esterillos Oeste the perfect beach day trip to get your feet wet on the pacific shores of Costa Rica.
One of Costa Rica's best known surfing beaches, Jacó, is just an hour and a half away from AmaTierra. This bustling surf town has one of the best breaks in the country. And you don't have to be an experienced surfer to get into the action. Surfing lessons can be arranged for any experience level. Jacó is big enough that you can get a bite to eat at a local restaurant and do a little shopping, but still small enough to enjoy the peaceful waves and watch the vibrant sunset over the ocean.
Policy:
Payment Policy: To secure your room we request one half of the amount of your total reservation. The balance of your bill is due upon arrival at AmaTierra. Your deposit is payable using Visa, MasterCard, or by direct deposit.
Cancellation Policy: If you must Cancel your reservation, please do so at least 30 days before the date of your arrival. Otherwise, you will be charged 50% of your total for a cancellation 15 - 30 days before reservation date, and 100% of your total if your reservation is cancelled 14 days or less before the reservation date. In case of cancellation 31 days or more before date of arrival, there will be a $25 per room charge to your credit card.
