Llamahuasi Casa del Montaņero is an Ecuadorian hosteria for those who love the mountains and nature. Not only is it a site of relaxation, it is also a centrally located point for trips to indigenous markets, trekking paths, and hiking some of the most amazing mountains in Ecuador. Located in the small indigenous town of Pastocalle along the Avenue of the Volcanoes, Llamahuasi is a great place to acclimatize at 3200 meters (10,498 feet) before climbing Ilinizas, Cotopaxi, Chimborazo or Corazon.
The cabins have a rustic design. Built in the style of our ancestors, they are ecofriendly and also preserve our traditions. This style of indigenous living helps bring a unique experience to your stay in Ecuador. The cabins are located beside the lodge which has a kitchen, bar, fireplace, pool table, internet, television, and a library of information about Ecuador. Our lodge has a kitchen in which we prepare breakfast and dinner daily. Breakfast can be ordered ala carte while dinner is served family style, and a vegetarian option is always available. With advance notice we can prepare a traditional Ecuadorian meal for you.

Nearby attractions and activities:
Llamahuasi is located 10 minutes away from the entrance to Cotopaxi National Park. It is also close to the volcanos Iliniza Norte, Iliniza Sur, Chimborazo, Pasochoa, and Corazon. Also nearby are the indigenous markets of Saqusili, Zumbahua, and Pujili. The thermal pools of Iliniza Norte can be reached in 3 hours on foot.

Llamahuasi is located 1 1/2 hours south of Quito by car and 2 hours by public transportation. It is 20 minutes north of Latacunga.
Policy:
- We do not require deposits but we do ask for 48 hours cancellation notice.
- Our rooms are non smoking and we don't encourage pets because we already have many animals on the property.
- We do not have specific check-in and check-out times.
- We are flexible to meet your needs.
