You are invited to experience our privately owned estate and vineyard situated in Gard at the foothills of the Cevennes. A large, completely private swimming lake is fed by four natural sources and maintains an agreeable temperature. Inside, you will find vaulted ceilings and terraces overlooking the vast estate.

Villa Plantat is just minutes away from the charming village of Quissac, a short ride to the metropolitan cities of Nimes and Montpelier, and less then 35km to the Mediterranean.

Plantat is a fully equipped home, ready to welcome. Should you wish, a Provençal chef available for shopping and cooking, as well as a masseuse, a babysitter and a maid. Plantat is perfect for children, as well as long-term renters. In May and September we host a Week Gourmet Yoga retreat, please inquire for details!

Details:
7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, living room, dining room, outside dining area with seating for up to 13 guests, library, winter garden, spacious entrance hall, balcony, terrace and orangery and free parking.

Villa amenities:
Spring-fed swimming pool, acres of majestic gardens, forests, and vineyard.

Fully equipped kitchen, with 2 dishwasher, washing machine, walk in pantry etc. Barbecue, ample garden chairs and lounge chairs outdoors.

Available upon request: a Provençal chef (for shopping and/or cooking), masseuse, babysitter, maid and tour guide.

Location & Nearby Attractions:
Sites to See: Plantat is within close proximity to the metropolitan cities of Montpellier and Nîmes, the sites of the best-preserved Roman ruins, world-renowned prehistoric caves and bamboo gardens.

Activities and Events: In the surrounding villages you will find charming summer festivals, shopping and restaurants. Golf, tennis and more are available nearby as well as fabulous mountain hiking and canoeing in the forests of the Cevennes.

Food and Drink: Only 1.8 km to shops and restaurants in the lovely village of Quissac, where Robert Louis Stevenson finished his book “Travels with a Donkey." Of course, you'll find wine tastings everywhere!

Policy:
Rental is available on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday. Unfortunately, we cannot welcome pets. Half of rental fee is required as deposit.

Notes:
Summer weeks cost USD 3,900, except August which costs USD 4,200.
We also offer a special USD 300 discount for multiple weeks booked.
At full capacity, that's a weekly rate of less then USD 285 per person!
